New Priest Spells![]() This page details a few new priest spells. Fertility CharmTransmutationLevel: Fertility 1 Components: V, S, F Casting Time: 10 minutes Range: Touch Target: Adult creature touched Duration: 1 hour/level Saving Throw: Fortitude negates (harmless) Spell Resistance: Yes (harmless) For the duration of the spell, fertility charm allows any adult subject to father children (if male) or become pregnant (if female), regardless of physical condition or disease. Fertility charm will work on any creature capable of sexual reproduction be it humanoid, animal, or other. Note that impregnation is not guaranteed; the spell merely restores "normal" fertility for the duration of the spell. Bless UnbornTransmutationLevel: Fertility 2 Components: V, S, M Casting Time: 10 minutes Range: See text Target: Unborn creature Duration: Permanent Saving Throw: Fortitude negates (harmless) Spell Resistance: Yes (harmless) This spell invokes favorable conditions upon an unborn creature. Distance is not a factor, but the caster must know the name of (or have a mental picture of) the mother, who must be on the same plane. Roll randomly for the effect. The exact effect is not known to anyone until the creature is born. 1d8 Roll Blessing ---------- -------------------------- 1-3 No effect 4 Max hit points on first hit dice 5 +2 to chosen skill 6 +1 to chosen ability score 7 +1 to chosen saving throw 8 Bonus feat Only one bless unborn spell can ever affect a given creature. ChantConjuration (Creation)Level: Clr2, Pal2 Components: V, S, DF Casting Time: 1 action Range: 30 ft. Area: All allies and foes within a 30-ft. radius centered on you Duration: Time of chanting; max. 5 minutes per level Saving Throw: None Spell Resistance: No As long as you chant, you bring special favor upon your allies and bring disfavor to your enemies. You and your allies gain a +1 luck bonus on attack rolls, weapon damage rolls, saves and skill checks while your foes suffer a –1 penalty on such rolls. You must chant in a clear voice. Any interruption in your chanting, such as a failed Concentration check, a silence spell or your speaking or casting another spell, ends the effect. As an exception to the general rule, the effects of this spell stack with those of a prayer spell if cast by a cleric of the same deity and alignment. It counters and is countered by cure infertility. Cure InfertilityTransmutationLevel: Fertility 3 Components: V, S, M Casting Time: 1 action Range: Touch Target: Living creature touched Duration: Instantaneous Saving Throw: Fortitude negates (harmless) Spell Resistance: Yes (harmless) This spell removes sterility from the target creature. It counters and is countered by cause infertility. Curse UnbornTransmutationLevel: Fertility 4 Components: V, S, M Casting Time: 10 minutes Range: See text Target: Unborn creature Duration: Permanent Saving Throw: Fortitude negates Spell Resistance: Yes This spell invokes unfavorable conditions upon an unborn creature. Distance is not a factor, but the caster must have some connection (possession, garment, body part, lock of hair, nail clippings, etc.) from either the father or the mother (the latter must be on the same plane as the caster). The mother's saving throw is used. The caster can choose from one of the effects below, or invent his own (DM's discretion).
The curse can be removed by remove curse, in which case the caster must be of equal or higher level than the caster of the curse. Distance is not a factor, but the caster must have some connection (possession, garment, body part, lock of hair, nail clippings, etc.) from either the father or the mother (the latter must be on the same plane as the caster). The mother's saving throw is used. The spell can only be attempted once per month of the pregnancy, and the mother gains a +1 to the saving throw for each month after the first. ![]() |
